WEST LONG BRANCH — Students of all ages in central New Jersey can find homework help at the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC) member libraries.
Individualized guidance can be found through online resources such as Tutor.com and Learning Express, among others, that are subscribed to by one or another of the LMxAC libraries.
There are numerous LMxAC libraries offering Learning Express, which provides practice testing for students in elementary through college, including SAT preparation and GED, as well as vocational and citizenship studies.
The member libraries include: Red Bank, Long Branch, Edison, Metuchen, Monroe, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, Old Bridge, Plainfield, Plainsboro and South Brunswick.
The popularTutor.com program offers live homework help online through a user library’swebsite. Among the LMxAC libraries offering this free service are: Matawan-Aberdeen, Monroe, New Brunswick, Plainsboro, Roselle, Sayreville and South Brunswick.
Many of the libraries offer one-on-one tutoring by volunteers on-site.
