Mrs. Dixon, 72, of Lakewood, formerly of Manalapan, died Nov. 5, 2010, at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York. Prior to retirement, she was an office manager for Dr. Hersch, Freehold, for 15 years. She was predeceased by a son, Todd Dixon, in 1973. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Dixon of Lakewood; a son, Mort Dixon and his wife, Jodi, of Freehold Township; a daughter, Abbe Jester and her husband, Tim, of Oakhurst; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin section of Woodbridge.
