Author Micol Ostow will come to Temple Emanu-El, 100 James St., Edison, on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11:15 a.m. to speak about her life and work.
Her novels examine diversity and identity and are relevant to all young people as they face the challenge of self-discovery on their journey to adulthood.
The author visit is part of Temple Emanu-El’s Family Education Series, which is open to the entire community. The morning will start with an informal familyfriendly musical Shabbat service at 10 a.m. followed by Ostow’s talk for adults and children ages 9 and over. At this time, younger children will have the option to join a separate activity of making their own “graphic novels.” Ostow’s presentation will conclude with a question-and-answer session with the audience.
