The Investors Savings Bank Foundation, headquartered in Short Hills, has awarded $10,000 in support of Christian Brothers Academy’s Project 50th campaign.
The capital campaign, launched to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the private Catholic boys preparatory school, is currently in Phase II of a $10 million renovation and construction project that will include the addition of a new library and state-of-the-art science wing. Groundbreaking on the project was held this past June.
“We are grateful for the generous grant from the Investors Savings Bank Foundation,” said Brother Frank Byrne, president of the academy. “Their support, along with that of our other benefactors and private and corporate partners, will bring us closer to our goal of opening our new facilities in the fall of next year.”
“For 50 years, the Christian Brothers Academy has been shaping young men into the mature and responsible leaders of tomorrow,” said Kevin Cummings, president and CEO of Investors Savings Bank and a member of the foundation’s board. “We look forward to joining them in celebrating the successful completion of this ambitious capital project.”
