Miss Maziekien, 83, of Wall Township, died Nov. 22, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Irvington, she had resided there and in Manasquan before moving to Wall 15 years ago. Miss Maziekien was a chemist for Englehard Precious Metals, Newark, for 40 years, retiring 20 years ago. Surviving are her brother, John J. Maziekien Jr. of Marlboro; three nephews, including Lee Maziekien of Howell; three nieces, including Lou-Anne Maziekien of Marlboro; and a cousin, Carol Deer of Lincroft. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Marlboro, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
