Theodore Tel’s eight points led a balanced scoring effort to lift Seton Hall to a 30-25 overtime win over Connecticut in the Boys 6th/7th Grade Division of the Princeton Recreation Dillon Youth Basketball League. Liam Parker had five points, while Aidan Shue, Jamar Tucker and Isiah Anagbo added four apiece in the win. Peter Luther had eight points and Dylan Warner added six in the loss.
In other games in the division, Colin Taylor scored 12 points as Villanova topped Pittsburgh, 38- 28. Teddy Friedman and Will Shaughnessy added eight points apiece in the win, while Joaquin Hernandez-Burt scored 14 points and Grant Hoeffner added 11 for Pittsburgh. Rutgers topped St. John’s 27-17, as Jacob Caddeau led the way with eight points and Peter Reid added five. Thomas Itkoff had eight points for St. John’s.
In the Boys 8th/9th Grade Division, Dan Sturm scored nine points to lead Corner House to a 20-14 win over Princeton Dental Group. Robert Quinn had nine points in the loss. Patrick Clancy scored 22 points to lead Jefferson Plumbing and Heating to a 46-21 win over Mayflower Cleaners. Gideon Friedberg had seven points and Harrison Okun added six in the win. Kevin Quinn led Mayflower Cleaners with 13 points. Luis Morris had 10 points and Oscar Vik added eight as SportsMedicine Princeton topped Princeton Pettoranello Foundation, 32-14. Tommy Ie had 10 points in the loss.
In the Boys 4th/5th Grade Division, Zach Bowen and Teddy Durbin scored eight points apiece and Noah Dietch added seven as the Thunder topped the Kings, 32-18. Sam Goldman led the Kings with six points. Jack Ruddy had 10 points, Nathan Dorini eight and Andrew Moss six as the Blazers topped the Lakers, 30-11. Matt Piccinini had four points to lead the Lakers. The Clippers topped the Warriors, 23-15, as Elon Tuckman scored nine points and Aiden Duffy added six. Thomas Reid and Ibrahim LaGrier had four points apiece for the Warriors. Noah Middlekauf scored 11 points as the Spurs topped the Suns, 20-9. Tom Doran had seven points for the Suns. Brooks Johnson and Sam Tartar scored 12 points apiece to lead the Sonics to a 38-21 win over the Mavericks. Sebastian Ratzan had eight points and John Itkoff added seven in the loss.
In the Girl 6th-9th Grade Division, Yael Yonah scored 12 points and Zoe Resnick added seven as Princeton Township PBA #387 defeated American Sew/Vac, 30-11. Jordan Provorny had seven points in the loss. McCaffrey’s defeated Iano’s as Alexandra Patel had 16 points in the win. Isabel Trenholm, Elizabeith Wright and Emily Costa had two points apiece for Iano’s.
In the Girls 4th/5th Grade Division, Devon Lis scored 11 points to lead Princeton Youth Sports to a 15-13 win over Princeton Shopping Center. Katie Woolfolk had seven points for PSC. GR Murray topped Vincent Baldino & Brothers, 15-10, as Anna Rose Quinn led the way with eight points. Natalie Osborne and Vanya Tandon had four points apiece in the loss. Colette Mancino scored 14 points and Julianna Okupski added eight in Woodwind’s win over Mason, Griffin & Pierson.
