A Freehold Township man was among the four area winners of the Freehold Soil Conservation District’s 2010 Photo Contest.
More than 300 entrants submitted photographs designed to portray the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties.
Terri Walliczek, Shrewsbury, was the first-place winner and received $200 for “Morning Music.”
Ray Yeager, Toms River, was awarded second place and $100 for “Reservoir Dock.”
Andy Beldowicz, Freehold Township, won $75 as the third-place winner for “Seven Presidents Sunrise.”
Honorable mention went to Ryan Struck, Atlantic Highlands, for “Looking Out.”
