Is climate change a topic too hot to handle? At 7:30 p.m. Sunday , at the Suzanne Paterson Center, the Princeton Community Democratic Organization will sponsor a panel discussion of this controversial topic. All are invited to attend.
On Sunday, Richard Moss and Shimon Anisfeld will discuss both how to slow the progress of climate change, and how to mitigate its effects. Mr. Moss is a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (which was a co-recipient, with Al Gore, of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for its work). He was a leader in developing the United States Science Program’s 10-year strategic plan from 2000-2006.
Mr. Anisfeld is a senior lecturer in Environmental Science at Yale University and author of the recent book "Water Resources," which grapples with both the science and the policy aspects of managing increasingly scarce fresh water resources around the world.
Questions will be welcome after the panel’s presentation.
