The next scheduled recycle pick up for Mansfield Township is Monday, Jan. 3.
Thanks to all the residents of our village for making it such a festive drive through town. All the homes look fantastic for the season – it makes me proud to say I live in Columbus. Merry Christmas from a resident of Main Street.
Thank you to all who participated in the "Save the Grange" fund raiser last week. The residents that put the event together deserve a lot of thanks. It shows that we have community support of a real Columbus landmark. If you would still like to make a donation to the Columbus Grange to help with their expenses, please contact the Mansfield Township at 609-298-0542, and they will direct you to the Grange contact person. Thanks again to all the donations from our local businesses and residents.
The Mansfield Township Schools will be closed from Dec. 24 until Jan. 3 for the winter recess. Schools will reopen on Monday, Jan. 3.
The next Mansfield Township Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Mansfield Township Municipal building located on East Main Street. For more information please call 609-298-0542.

Last Chance for leaf pick up. Mansfield Township Residents: As a service to our residents, free Mandatory Paper Biodegradable Leaf Bags should be picked up at the Clerk’s Office Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon at the Recycling Area in the Municipal Parking Lot if you plan on placing leaves curbside for collection. Township residents are reminded that State Law prohibits the disposal of leaves with your household trash and garbage. Please direct question to the Recycling Department at 609-298-0542 ext. 29. ***
