Drumthwacket Welcomes YWCA Studnets

By Diane Hasili
Drumthwacket welcomed students from the YWCA Princeton’s English as a Second Language program, many now residing in Mercer County, on a field trip. It was a special opportunity to learn more about New Jersey’s rich history and enjoy the spectacular seasonal decorations courtesy of garden clubs from across the state.

The YWCA’s ESL program, open to men and women, offers English language instruction at all levels and actually serves as a cross-cultural meeting place for students and community members. Current students represent 27 languages and 37 countries. New classes start in January. For more information, please call 609-497-2100, ext. 329.
