Every Wednesday night – St. Mary’s hosts a $1,000 bingo at 30 Elizabeth St., Bordentown City. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and games begin at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Call Rose at 609-758-8772.
Shrimp Night
The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Post 39 in Roebling will have its monthly shrimp night on Friday, Jan. 7. The shrimp dinners consist of 12 large peel yourself shrimp with homemade potato salad, cole slaw and dessert for $10.
Also offered is a meatball sandwich platter with the same sides and dessert for $7. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and will continue until sold out. We do have take out orders.
Call 499-3880 that day after 3 p.m. and your order will be ready for pickup after 5 p.m. Come out and enjoy a great dinner with all of your friends and neighbors.
Auxiliary meets
The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 will have its monthly meeting at the Post Home on 4th Avenue on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m.
President Margo Mattis asks that the members make a special effort to attend.
Basket bingo
The New Egypt American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring a Longerger basket bingo Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Legion Post 455 Hall, 2 Meadowbrook Drive and Route 528, New Egypt. Doors open at 11 a.m. and games begin at 1 p.m. Cost is $25 to enter, which includes game boards. The kitchen will be open and serving food. Players must be 18 years or older to enter. To reserve tickets contact Barbara Sprowl at 609-894-9249. Snow date is Jan. 23.
