Hunterdon Chamber to fete 95th

By: centraljersey.com
On Jan. 26, 1916, a group of local business leaders gathered for the first meeting of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce. Since that time, Chamber programs and offerings have evolved, but the heart of the mission remains the same – to promote local economy and opportunities for businesses to prosper.
Help celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Chamber by attending the 2011 annual Meeting and Dinner Dance on Jan. 21 from 6-11 p.m. at the Grand Colonial in Hampton.
The Heartbeats, a 10-piece band out of Philadelphia, will provide entertainment for this year. The night will consist of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a 15-20 minute annual meeting/installation of new officers, and then, dinner and dancing.
There also will be a silent auction including artwork, clothing and electronics, to browse and bid on. The 2010 Annual Report will be available for distribution.
"This year, the annual Meeting and Dinner Dance will be even more special with the celebration of the Chamber’s 95th Anniversary," said Chamber President & CEO Chris Phelan. "The 2011 annual Meeting and Dinner Dance will be, as always, a great place to meet and network with a wide range of the (Chamber) membership."
Cost per ticket is $95. Tables of 10 also are available for $1,000 and include a half-page ad in 2010 Annual Report. Preregistration is required by calling 908-782-7115 or registering online at: www.hunterdon-chamber.org.
The Chamber "thanks Merck & Co. for once again taking the Signature Sponsorship for this event. Also thanks to Band Sponsor, Hunterdon Radiological Associates; Cocktail Hour Sponsor, eSOZO Computer & Network Services; Decorations Sponsor, Eggsotic Events; and Annual Report Printing Sponsor, PSI," said a spokesman.
