Rebecca Ann Smith, daughter of Frank and Joan Smith of West Amwell Township, and Thomas Charles Casey, son of Charles and Joan Casey of Horsham, Pa., were married on July 31 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lambertville.
Deacon Michael Semko officiated. Music was provided by Sue Kim on organ and Nick Romano on trumpet. The reception was held at Memorable Affairs Occasions in New Hope.
Matron of honor was Cory Wilson-Barrera of Austin, Texas. Maid of honor was Mary Drahofsky of Hamilton. Bridesmaids were Jodi Nutret of Morrisville, Pa., Katie Myers and Irene Wernke, both of Lambertville, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law Karen Casey of Chalfont, Pa., and the bridegroom’s nieces Shannon Casey of Chalfont and Morgan Casey of Jackson. Flower girl was the bridegroom’s niece, Anna Casey of Chalfont.
Best man was the bridegroom’s brother Daniel Casey of Chalfont. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother William Casey of Hatboro, Pa., the bride’s brother Andrew Smith of West Amwell Township, Robert Spencer of Denver, Colo., Brian Lynagh of Durango, Colo., the bridegroom’s brother James Casey of Jackson, Robert Erb of Warrington, Pa., and Matthew Ames of Pittsburgh, Pa. Ring bearers were the bridegroom’s nephews, Evan Casey of Chalfont and Ian Casey of Jackson.
The bride graduated in 1996 from South Hunterdon Regional High School; in 2001 from The College of New Jersey with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and in law and justice; in 2006 from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a master’s degree in clinical psychology; and in 2006 from Villanova School of Law in Philadelphia with a juris doctor. She is a legal consultant with Associates in Forensic Psychology in Bound Brook.
The groom graduated in 1994 from Hatboro-Horsham High School and in 1999 from Clarion (Pennsylvania) University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is a corporate account manager with Hertz Corporation in Marlton.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the Smiths made their home in West Amwell Township.
