The Cherry Blossom Montessori School at 20 Equator Ave. in Hillsborough and Raritan Valley Montessori Academy inside The PeopleCare Building at 120 Finderne Ave. in Bridgewater invite parents interested in learning about their elementary programs to an open house.
Each school will have its open house Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 7:15 p.m.
"This is an excellent opportunity for parents who are not familiar with Montessori to learn about the philosophy and how our elementary program differs from traditional school," said Diane Dodds, the director of admissions for both schools. "They’ll be able to tour our classrooms, meet our teachers and see a few of the materials children use daily."
Both The Cherry Blossom and Raritan Valley Montessori Schools offer programs for children ages 18 months through sixth grade.
Half-day or full-day programs are available for preschool children. Kindergarten students receive full-day instruction with an enrichment program in the afternoon.
In addition to their preschool, kindergarten and elementary programs, both schools offer before-care beginning at 7 a.m. and after-care until 6:30 p.m.
Tours are offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursdays at The Cherry Blossom and Tuesdays at Raritan Valley throughout the year.
