Lambertville City police reported:
— On Dec. 28, Sgt. Robert Brown stopped Stephanie A. Smith, 21, of Flemington, on North Union Street for disregarding a traffic signal. The sergeant smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Ms. Smith said she had a bag of marijuana and a smoking pipe in her vehicle under the front seat. Ms. Smith handed the officer a black plastic box containing two bags of marijuana and a black ceramic smoking pipe. A passenger in the vehicle Jennifer L. Geiger, 21, of Hillsborough, and Ms. Smith both were charged with possession of CDS marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Both also were charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. They were released pending a court appearances.
— On Dec. 30, Sgt. Brown stopped Peter Gray, 24, of New Hope, on Route 29 for failure to keep right. Mr. Gray was charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. In the vehicle, the officer also located a bayonet, and several knives Mr. Gray stated he used for protection. Mr. Gray was charged with disorderly conduct for possessing the knives and bayonet, having an open container of alcohol, and failure to keep right. He was released pending a court appearance.
— On Dec. 31, police went to a residence on Brunswick Pike to investigate an abandoned 911 call. Upon arrival, police heard women screaming from within the residence. As police entered the residence, a tenant, Antonio N. Vasquez, 30, would not allow police access to the rear of the residence where the screams continued. Mr. Vasquez approached police in a threatening manner and was taken into custody for obstructing. Once handcuffed, Mr. Vasquez attempted to kick police. He was charged with aggravated assault on police and obstructing.
While police were attempting to speak to the caller, Maria Carrasco, 30, of Lambertville, Yolanda Hernandez, 36, of Lambertville, keep interfering with the investigation, police said. Ms. Hernandez was charged with obstructing.
While police were attempting to leave the residence with both subjects, Antonio Vasquez’ brother, Oscar Vasquez, blocked the front door and would not allow police to exit. He was charged with obstructing.
The 911 call was made, police said, because Ms. Carrasco was allegedly intoxicated and Oscar Vasquez, her boyfriend, would not allow her to consume more alcohol.
Antonio Vasquez posted bail in the amount of $500 dollars and was released. Oscar Vasquez and Ms. Hernandez were released pending court appearances.
