BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP – Fire prevention and home safety are major concerns for Bordentown Fire District 2, according to its Board of Fire Commissioners.
The district offers resources to the public. One of these resources is the Smoke Detector Program through which Fire District 2 sponsors a free service designed to ensure all homes in Bordentown Township are equipped with working smoke detectors.
This past November firefighters performed 30 home inspections and replaced over 100 batteries and 20 smoke detectors.
Other programs available to residents are Home Inspections, Escape Plans, and Fire Prevention for Families and Seniors.
Residents who would like more information regarding any of these programs can contact the firehouse at (609) 298-8527 or visit our website at www.bordentownfmba.com and click on the "RESIDENTS PAGE" tab.
