The regular monthly meeting of the Bordentown City Environmental Commission (BCEC) will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Carslake Community Center. Bordentown High School Wrestling Boosters is hosting a Trivia Night/Gift Auction to benefit the High School Wrestling program and the Bordentown Recreation Wrestling program on Saturday, Jan. 15, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first Trivia round begins at 7:15 p.m. The cost is $10 to attend. Bordentown Township Senior Citizen Club meetings are the first and third Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the Senior Community Center on Municipal Drive. There is a covered dish dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 and a bus trip to the Bally Casino on Tuesday, Jan. 18. Bus leaves the center at 8:45 a.m. Cost is $20. All township seniors age 55 and over welcome. Every Wednesday, line dancing from 10 to 11 a.m., yoga 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Every Thursday, tap dancing from 10 to 11 a.m. Every Friday, dance motivation exercise from 10 to 11 a.m. Call 298-7811.
Bordentown Little League is accepting registrations for the Spring 2011 baseball and softball season. Boys and girls that are 4 years old and up at April 30, 2011 are eligible to participate. Bordentown Chapter 257, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold a Homemade Soup and Game Night 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at the Masonic Temple, 121 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, Cost is $5 a person and includes sandwiches and dessert.
The Northern Burlington Regional Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Business to Business Networking Event on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Heart Care Specialists at Capital Health, 625 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown., Bring plenty of business cards for networking. Bordentown Regional School District is accepting applications for a full day, tuition based preschool program for children who are 4 years old and will turn 5 by Oct.1, 2011. The program offers Tools of the Mind, a nationally recognized early childhood curriculum in a state-of the-art classroom designed for preschoolers. Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 has bingo every Tuesday night at 7:15. Doors open at 5 p.m. There is a progressive jackpot and food is available for purchase. The lodge has sandwich night every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Price is $6. Lodge 2085 does a breakfast on the third Sunday of every month from 8 to 11 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Special Children’s Committee.
