Looking ahead
The Neshanic Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Station House on Olive Street, Neshanic Station. Renowned photographer Walter Choroszewski will present “The Great Tree Adventure.” Club member Jeanine Geremia will speak about the New Jersey State Flower Show. All-Star Pro Wrestling comes to Manville at 7:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the Manville VFW Hall, 600 Washington Ave. Sponsored by the Manville Boy Scout and Cub Scout Troop 193, tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for children and seniors. For ticket information call (732) 888-1704.
Kindergarten registration
Registration for kindergarten for the 2011-2012 school year will be held at the Weston School on Feb. 15 and 16. Please contact the Weston School, 600 Newark Ave., Manville 08835, or call (908) 2318548 or visit the district web site http://www.manvilleschools.org for information. All children attending kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2011. No exceptions will be made. All children enrolling in kindergarten must provide proof of immunization and a physical examination form must be completed prior to the start of school. This examination must be done no more than 365 days prior to entry into school.
