Apartment group to hold annual meeting

MONROE – Wednesday, Jan. 19, the New Jersey Apartment Association will host its annual membership meeting where Department of Community Affairs Commissioner Lori Grifa will speak and 90 new member companies will attend a new member reception.
The event will be held at The Palace at Somerset.
A graduate of Boston College School of Law, Commissioner Grifa most recently was a member of Wolff & Samson’s Government and Regulatory Affairs Group. Additional professional roles included special assistant district attorney in the New York County district attorney’s office and appointed member of the Committee for Women and the Courts, the state Domestic Violence Working Group and the District V-A Attorney Ethics Committee. Ms. Grifa was named by NJBIZ in 2008 as one of New Jersey’s "Best 50 Women in Business."
The meeting for members only will start at 6 p.m. preceded by a board of directors meeting, and the new member reception (by invitation) at 5 p.m.
The board installation and remarks from Commissioner Grifa will take place at 6:15 p.m. The evening will conclude with a 6:45 p.m. cocktail reception.
