The new Chesterfield Elementary School dedication and ribbon cutting will be held on January 22, 2011 at 10 am in the Cafetorium of the new school.
All community residents are invited to attend the program followed by a tour of the building.
The new 115,776 square foot school opened with 552 preschool through 6th grade students on January 5, 2011. Highlights of the new school include a new gymnasium and cafetorium, geothermal heating and air conditioning, solar panels, 54 classrooms with state of the art technology. The school was designed to comply with NJ Best Management Practices for Homeland Security.
