Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation held its Christmas party Dec. 12 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Chico’s Jazz Club on Lake Avenue, Asbury Park. Music was provided by Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation Youth Project, Katie Brower, leader; Mauricio de Souza Trio; and Goldenseal, leader Joe Hughes, with accompaniment by Golden Horn Trio, leader Dennis Eschbach.
Each year, the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation recognizes female and male volunteers for the year. This year’s recipients were Juel Kern and Jim Murphy, who were presented with a plaque expressing appreciation from the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation.
