Kasha Stevenson, 41, of South Brunswick, was arrested for having an active warrant in the amount of $165 out of Edison. Police discovered the warrant while conducting a motor vehicle stop on Route 206 at 1:05 a.m. on Monday. She was later released after posting $165 bail.

Police are investigating an act of identity theft and fraud. A resident of Parker Road South reported that between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30 an unknown person had made several fraudulent purchases made from two of his credit cards, totaling $1,883.
Angel J. Torres, 25, of New Brunswick, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane. At 3:22 a.m. on Wednesday, police stopped Mr. Torres for failing to maintain a single lane on Route 1 south. Police said that an investigation found him to be intoxicated. He was arrested and later released on his own recognizance.
Montgomery
Lori A. Katz-Fieldstein, 44, of Princeton, was charged with driving while using a cell phone without a hands free device. At 11:29 a.m. on Jan. 14, police stopped Ms. Katz-Fieldstein on Route 206 when they observed her driving while talking on a cell phone. She was arrested after a check of her driving credentials revealed that she had an active warrant in the amount $165 out of Princeton Township. She was released after posting the $165 bail, pending a court appearance.
Lawrence L. Reilly, 40, of Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, was arrested for an active warrant in the amount of $1,000 from Clinton Township. At 11:49 a.m. on Jan. 14, police stopped Mr. Reilly on Route 206 at a DMV checkpoint, where he was seen driving without wearing a seatbelt. He was arrested after a check of his driving credentials revealed that he had an active warrant. He was unable to post the $1,000 bail and turned over to Clinton Township police. He is being held at Hunterdon County Jail, pending court.
West Windsor
Charles W. Cook, 65, of West Windsor, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, leaving the scene of a crash involving a serious or fatal injury, failure to maintain a lane, and failure to report an accident. At 7:56 a.m. on Jan. 14, Mr. Cook was traveling on Village Road East, near Grover Middle School, when he allegedly struck Sharain Wason, 51, of West Windsor, who was walking on the shoulder of the road. Mr. Cook left the scene of the accident and returned a short time later. Ms. Wason sustained serious injuries and was taken to Helene Fuld Trauma Center in Trenton. She was listed in critical but stable condition. He was arrested and later released, pending court.
