JACKSON — In celebration of Black History Month (February), the Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, will host “They Rode the Range,” a presentation by the Federation of Black Cowboys, on Feb. 26, at 1 p.m.
The Federation of Black Cowboys, from Queens, N.Y., seeks to share and promote knowledge of the “black West.” Attendees will sample authentic chuckwagon food and hear tales of the rich history of the Black cowboys in America’s West.
