Care Night, sponsored by the Sayreville Middle School PTO, 7-9 p.m., in the cafeteria at Sayreville Middle School, 800 Washington Road, Parlin section of Sayreville. All proceeds benefit the Sayreville Brain Injured Children Association (BIC) and the Sayreville Food Bank. Bingo, raffle prizes. Central Jersey Youth Give-Back Dance-A-Thon, a charity dance open to students in grades 7-12, 6-11 p.m., at St. Bartholomew Parish Hall, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. Proceeds benefit the Sheila Lore Memorial Fund, which provides support services for cancer patients, and Catholic Relief Services, which provides health care to the poor in Guatemala. Pancake Breakfast, to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), hosted by local residents Gail Komm and Melissa Oswald, 8:30-11:30 a.m., at Frey Hall, 216 Joseph St., East Brunswick. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, juice, more. Cost is $10 per adult (ages 11 and up), $5 per child. Proceeds go to LLS for research, patient and community services, financial aid, education. Komm and Oswald, participants in the LLS Team in Training fundraising campaign, are raising money for the organization while training for the 26.2- mile Lake Placid Marathon. Birnn Chocolates, Highland Park, co-sponsors event. Chocolate presentation and demonstration, tastings, packaged chocolates for purchase.
