Mr. Dembinski, 60, of the Whiting section of Manchester, formerly of South River, died Jan. 14, 2011, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1996, he was the owner and operator of South River Auto Service. He was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Doris Dembinski, and by a nephew, Adam Galinski. Surviving are three sisters, Harriet Downs of Tucson, Ariz., Mary Ann Galinski of Spotswood and Beverly Klimcsak of South River; his former wife, Joanne Dembinski of South River; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Cremation was private.
