MONROE – Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m., the Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission and the Monroe Township Patrons of the Arts will present The Lustig Dance Theatre.
The performance will take place at the Richard P. Marasco Theatre for the Performing Arts at 1629 Perrineville Road.
The Lustig Dance Theatre, is a new contemporary dance company with a classical "vocabulary." The repertory program will contain original works by company member Laney Engelhart and Artistic Director Graham Lustig.
Love music will be provided by Jaeger Soprano, a duo of guitar and vocalist.
The three works that will be performed will celebrate life – "Torch," a selection of modern love songs; "Infinitum," a quartet of dances with a spiritual atmosphere; and "Mexican Moon," an exploration of folkloric festival.
There will be an opportunity to meet the artistic director and dancers following the performance.
The cost is $15 for patrons and $18 for others. Students are admitted free.
