Students in grades seven through 10 who scored advanced proficient on at least one section of last year’s state test and their parents are invited to the third Annual HEROES Conference sponsored by Rutgers Office of Continuing Studies Jan 15-16 at Hickman Hall on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers University.
Students may select from a variety of hands-on multihour labs and lectures on subjects such as robotics, computer programming, biochemistry, writing, poetry, anthropology, marine science, and more. Parents may attend sessions on issues and opportunities for gifted students. Registration is $60-120 per person and includes breakfast, lunch and snack both days plus dinner on Saturday.
