Sunday, Feb. 6 – The Raider Diamond Club will hold its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hillsborough Municipal Building, 379 South Branch Road.
Menu includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bagels and doughnuts. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens.
Proceeds will benefit Hillsborough High School baseball.
Sample free food
Friday, Feb. 11 – Many of the township’s restaurants will offer their wares for free in the first "Hillsborough Sampler" event to be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at Hillsborough High School.
The event is not a fundraiser, but will give restaurants the opportunity to introduce residents to their dining options and establish a following. Participating restaurants will bring fliers for their business, as well as samples from regular and takeout menus.
Restaurants anticipated to attend are Bagel Bistro, Baker’s Treat, Carretino, Desi’s Brickoven Pizza, Divine Curry, Hurry Chutney, La Costentina, Lee’s Sushi, Maestro 206, Plaza Deli, Powerhouse Gym’s Nutritionist, A Taste of Crete and Zio’s Trattoria. The event is hosted by the township’s Business Advocate office.
Comedy night
Saturday, Feb. 12 – The Hillsborough Optimist Club will present its second Comedy Night from 7 to 10 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, Yorktown Road.
Tickets are $25 a person. BYOB; there will be snacks. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
Proceeds will benefit Camp Quality, a year-round camp program for children battling cancer.

Valentine’s dance
Saturday, Feb. 12 – A Valentine’s Day Dance sponsored by the Hillsborough/Manville Rotary Club will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight at Pheasants Landing restaurant. The event benefits Hillsborough High School’s Project Graduation.
