Inclement weather on Jan. 28 may have stopped the show from going on but students and teachers still have another chance to showcase their talents.
The high school talent show has been rescheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Manville High School auditorium. The show is about two hours with a 15-minute intermission.
About 50 students and teachers will feature songs from various periods of rock music and of various artists from the ‘50s up to the ‘90s.The first part will be the talent show where the high school students will sing dance, act, and play instruments to win first place. T
he second act is the Decades of Rock concert. Stephen Sallach, director of the Drama Club, and his assistant Ashley Wollesen are helping host the show this year.
”The Manville High School Band and Drama Club are hosting the talent show this year. Like previous years, the talent show will be performed by the students of Manville High School and the winner of the talent show will get a prize. The idea behind the show was to showcase the talents of the students and to show the community and the entire school district what these students can accomplish,” he said.
Tickets are available at the door and are $5 for adults and $3 for students/seniors.
