HAC, Express swim well

Members of the Hamilton Aquatic Club recorded top 16 finishes at the recent New Jersey 14-and-Under Age Group Championships, which were held at Princeton’s John Witherspoon School.
Sydney Bornstein was first in the 100 fly (58.13) and 200 fly (2:06.96). Emily Schroeder finished second in the 100 fly (58.34), 200 fly (2:09.86), 100 freestyle (54.62) and 200 IM (2:13.87), and ninth in the 50 free (25.62).
For the boys, Teddy Slahetka finished 11th in the 200 fly (2:17.91), 12th in the 100 fly (1:02.56), and 14th in the 500 free (5:25.31). Matt Tees was 11th in the 500 free (5:24.69) and 12th in the 1000 free (11:19.59).
Eastern Express athletes swam well at Princeton Invitational, a short course yards meet held at Princeton University’s DeNunzio Pool.
In the 10-and-under age group, Skillman resident Morgan Jennings finished seventh in the 50 free (33.66). West Windsor resident Isabelle Peel was third in the 100 back (1:20.65), fourth in the 200 IM (2:59.89), and fifth in the 100 IM (1:20.80) and 100 breast (1:32.31). Peel also was seventh in the 100 fly (1:26.73) and eighth in the 100 free (1:12.56).
Eastern Express athletes also took part in the CeraVe Invitational, a long course meters meet held at Rutgers.
In the 11-12 age group, Montgomery resident John Stauffer was eighth in the 100 back (1:17.24).
In the Senior Division, Skillman resident Hannah Matheson was sixth in the 100 free (1:00.56). Princeton resident Michelle Stefandl was seventh in the 400 free (4:32.15).
