County Business Partnership sponsors seminar
BRIDGEWATER – An upcoming seminar will provide business owners with information needed to evaluate tax assessments and determine whether a tax appeal is a worthwhile alternative.
The presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 2, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Somerset County Vocational High School Technical Center, Vogt Drive, Bridgewater.
Led by James P. Rhatican, Esq., of the Connell Foley law firm, and Matthew Krauser, real estate appraiser for Integra Realty Resources, the session will be an introduction to the process of the tax appeal. Designed for landlords, tenants, property owners, and managers, the seminar will detail the procedures of tax appeals, important in the devalued real estate market and the resulting over assessments that often go unrealized by property owners and managers.
The fee is $10 for Somerset County Business Partnership members and $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is recommended and may be accomplished at http://events.SCBP.org or by calling the Business Partnership at 908-218-4300.
The business partnership serves as central New Jersey’s regional Chamber of Commerce.
