The big theme at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show was connectivity, with connected TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, autos, and even major appliances — your fridge is texting you.
And while the industry continues to push 3DTV, the action is in mobile connected devices — smartphones and tablets, as smartphones power up to "superphones" at desktop performance and broadband speed, and tablets proliferate to meet any conceivable niche.
