Stephanie Durant of Hillsborough and Carol Suchit-Hudson of Somerset are the newest members of the Board of Trustees of Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children, a group dedicated to meeting the needs of abused and neglected youth.
Durant is global quality system manager at Johnson & Johnson in Raritan. She received a bachelor of science degree in health information management from Kean University.
Suchit-Hudson earned a bachelor of science in operations management and a master of science in management information systems from N.J. Institute of Technology. She serves as director of information security policy for the City of New York.
Both women have experience as volunteers for nonprofit agencies that help disadvantaged children.
Durant is involved with Jack and Jill of America, Inc., an African-American organization of mothers who nurture future leaders and create opportunities for them to become successful adults. She is also treasurer and assistant leader of Girl Scout Troop 1205 in Hillsborough.
Suchit-Hudson spent nine years running youth programs at a community center in Paterson.
