Friday, Feb. 25 – The Voices of Hightstown are hosting a wine and cheesecake tasting at the Hightstown Diner from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door with 100 percent of the money raised going to fund the walking bridge project at Peddie Lake.
Rams registration
Saturday, Feb. 26 – Registration for Hightstown Rams Pop Warner football/cheerleading will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at American Legion Post 148, Route 130, East Windsor.
Additional registrations will take place Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cranbury Library; Wednesday, March 23, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Grace Norton Rogers School, Stockton Street, Hightstown; and Wednesday, April 6, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Grace Norton Rogers School.
Dollhouse show
Saturday, Feb. 26 – The Hightstown Woman’s Club will be sponsoring its 32nd annual Dollhouse & Miniatures Show and Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, 320 N. Main St.
Thirty dealers from various areas such as New York Connecticut and New Jersey will be on hand displaying their wares. The dealers specialize in vintage miniatures, handcrafted and hand-painted items such as handcrafted furniture, Victorian room settings, needlework cushions, rugs and accessories.
A king/queen-size handcrafted Yellow Brick Road quilt, valued at $750, will be raffled by the club this year for $2 a ticket. Door prizes will be available as well as lunch and homemade cakes and cookies, all sold to benefit the Woman’s Club civic improvement projects.

Talent show
Saturday, Feb. 26 – The St. Anthony of Padua Talent Showcase & Cafe will be held beginning at 6 p.m. in the gym at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 156 Maxwell Ave, Hightstown. Admission is free.
Football signups
Saturday, Feb. 26 – Registration for players and cheerleaders who participated in 2010 and their siblings. Registration is from 9 a.m. until noon at American Legion Post 148, Route 130 North, East Windsor.
Registration continues Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Cranbury Library. Children also can sign up Wednesday, March 23, and Wednesday, April 6, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Grace Norton Rogers School, Oak Lane, Hightstown.

‘Annie’ at HHS
Friday, March 4; Saturday, March 5; and Sunday, March 6 – The Hightstown High School Drama Club will present the Broadway musical "Annie" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, in the HHS auditorium.
All seating is reserved and ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. For the Sunday matinee, there will be a special price of $5 for elementary students when accompanied by an adult, with a limit of three elementary students per adult.

HHS Music Boosters pasta dinner
Saturday, March 5 – The Hightstown High School Music Boosters will sponsor a pasta dinner complete with salad, bread and beverages, prior to a presentation of the HHS musical, "Annie" (musical tickets sold separately).
Dinner will be served continuously from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students; $8 for takeout orders.
Tickets will be available at the door – Hightstown High School cafeteria, 25 Leshin Lane. RSVP to 443-9702.
Proceeds will benefit scholarships and the music program.
Continuing events
Community suppers – The third Saturday of each month, a free hot meal is offered to all who attend. The event is held at the First Baptist Church, 125 Main St., Hightstown.
Volunteers are always welcome, and donations are appreciated to support the purchase of food and supplies. Cash or gift cards (ShopRite, Super Fresh, McCaffrey’s, Wegman’s, Walmart, Target, BJ’s) are helpful.
A food pantry also has been established so donations of nonperishable food (peanut butter, jelly, soups, cereals and canned tuna) also are needed.

Senior study – First United Methodist Church of Hightstown will hold a senior adult Bible study with Pastor Heidi Bak at 10 a.m. every first and third Thursday at the church, 187 Stockton St. Call the church office at 448-0041 for more information.
Help for MOMS – The MOMS Club of East Windsor/Hightstown is a support group for at-home moms.
The East chapter is for moms who live east of Route 130 and generally meets the second Monday of every month at 10 a.m. at Twin Rivers Library.
The West chapter is for moms who live west of Route 130 and generally meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. at Hickory Corner Library.
The groups offer a range of activities, including playgroups for children, park play days, day trips, arts and crafts, and get-togethers for the entire family.
