I would like to give a big shoutout to Millstone’s Public Works Department for keeping our roads clear and safe during the recent winter storms.
I commute 30 minutes to work. I know that’s nothing, trust me, but it’s all back roads. I have to pass through five different towns to get to work; and nothing compared to the roads in Millstone. Traveling through all the other towns, I was slipping and sliding on ice.
I live on a road that has a small hill. If the road is neither plowed nor salted, you are not stopping but are heading straight for the woods or a building. Everyone in the department was pleasant on the phone when I called to ask if they could salt the road a bit better, which was always done the same day.
I want to personally thank Millstone’s Public Works Department for making sure the roads were safe. Great job, everyone!
