Callum Satchell, 22, of Belle Mead was charged with aggravated assault after an altercation at Palmer Square. At 1:25 a.m. on Feb. 27 police responded to a fight in Palmer Square. One individual involved suffered a fractured nose, fractured sinuses and fractured orbital socket of the right eye. Mr. Satchell was arrested, released and waiting court.
Richard Butler, 32, of Camp Springs, Maryland, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. After being stopped for speeding at 12:08 a.m. on Feb. 26, Mr. Butler was found to be in possession of marijuana and rolling papers.
Montgomery
Benjamin Weeks, 32, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance third degree and possession of a controlled dangerous substance fourth degree. The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force received information that Mr. Weeks would be in possession of marijuana and Clonazepam pills. After Task Force and Montgomery police surveillance and a search, police found a plastic bag of marijuana over 50 grams and 19 pills with a street value of about $475 and $380, respectively. Mr. Weeks was taken to the Somerset County jail awaiting bail.
Manuel Garcia, 37, of Princeton, was served a $250 traffic warrant on, at his residence by township police on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 8:17 p.m. While at the residence police discovered Mr. Garcia’s true identity was Manuel E. Galeano-Lucero, 37, and there were two additional traffic warrants for his arrest under his true name. There was a warrant for $1,200 from Princeton Borough and a $439 warrant from Princeton Township. Mr. Galeano-Lucero was placed under arrest and taken to Montgomery Police Department headquarters. He was issued a criminal complaint for hindering apprehension and released after posting bail. He is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court.
Jeffrey Forsythe, 29, from Neshanic Station, was charged with driving while intoxicated. On Feb. 27 at 1:03 a.m. plice and Rescue Squad 47 responded to county Route 518 near Pine Brae Court for a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Mr. Forsythe stated he lost control of his a 1989 GMC Jimmy when he swerved to avoid a deer and the vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned onto the driver’s side. He was the only occupant and sustained minor injuries. Mr. Forsythe was issued motor vehicle summons for DWI and careless driving and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court.
Plainsboro
Natashia Waldron, 37, of Trenton was charged with theft on Tuesday after a complaint by her former employer. Bristol-Myers Squibb Dining Services lodged a complaint with police on Feb. 28; investigation revealed that Ms. Waldron is alleged to have stolen in excess of $15,000 from the company over a two-month span. She was arrested on March 1 on a warrant for theft. She was processed and released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
A resident of Pheasant Hollow Drive was a victim of a larceny on Feb. 26 while he was attempting to sell a time share condo. He was contacted by Aron Perdrix who stated he was a courier and was assisting Resort Sales Group of South Carolina with the sale of the condo. Mr. Perdrix instructed the victim to wire $350 to him through Western Union. After the money was transferred, attempts to contact Mr. Perdrix were unsuccessful. This case is being forwarded to the Detective Bureau.
West Windsor
Brett M. Cotton, 21, Gina A. Iacono, 19, and George M. Noriega 20, all of Hamilton, were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Feb. 25. At 6:59 p.m. police observed the front seat passenger of a 1998 black Jeep traveling on Clarksville Road not wearing a seatbelt. During the stop police detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle found under 50 grams of marijuana, rolling papers and a glass pipe. The accused were placed under arrest and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Mr. Noreiga and Ms. Iacono were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Iacono received a summons for failure to wear a seatbelt. All three of the accused were later released pending a future court date.
Elan J. Schenker, 19, and Bijan S. Matthews, 18, both of West Windsor, were charged with criminal mischief and persons under the legal age consuming alcoholic beverages on Feb. 27. The men are accused of vandalizing more than 20 mailboxes on Danville Drive, Conover Road, South Mill Road, Finch Court, East Kincaid Drive, Bradford Court, Penbrook Court, Cardinal Court and Sapphire Drive between midnight and 5 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26. Officers stopped a black Honda four-door for speeding on Southfield Road while investigating various reports of property damage in the area. Investigation at the scene indicated that Mr. Schenker and Mr. Matthews were responsible for the vandalism. It was also determined that both teens had been consuming alcohol. They were placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters. They were released to family members pending a future court date.
