Thank you for making Oyster Bowl XII another huge success!
We have raised more than $165,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and this would not be possible without the support from our wonderful friends in the community.
This year’s (also last year’s) champion was Bill Forest, who ate 87 oysters in two minutes and won an all-inclusive trip for two to the Caribbean.
And thanks to our sponsors:

Shocked that women’s team not covered
To the editor:
In the March 1 issue of The Packet, sports editor Bob Nuse devoted three columns to the Princeton men’s basketball team and its previous weekend wins. Not only wasn’t there a score for the women’s team – which is one game better than the men – but no mention whatsoever about their better standing in the women’s Ivy League.
As someone who played basketball at Princeton and even have seen a record 860 Princeton games, I was honored to have endowed the Women’s Basketball Award some 24 years ago.
As a player and as an alumnus I am shocked that The Packet would permit the fine article about the men’s team and not a word about the outstanding women’s record. With luck both of them could win the Ivy League title and go to the NCAA post-season together – the women for the second consecutive time.
