Soup sale for Ranch Hope
Saturday, March 12 – A soup sale/lunch/flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St., Allentown.
Homemade soup by the quart to go at $5.50. All proceeds benefit Ranch Hope Inc., a nonprofit organization helping teens. For more information, call 609-758-7272.
Flag football sign-up
Saturday, March 12 – Warrior Flag Football registration for boys and girls ages 5 to 15 continues from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Egypt Recreation Building, Brindletown Road, New Egypt.
Cost is $70 for one child; $125 for two children; $150 for three or more children (family cap). Cash only.
Registration includes approximately eight weeks of practice and games beginning in mid-April (exact dates to be determined), and a Warrior Flag Football T-shirt.

HomeFront topic of talk
Tuesday, March 15 – Anita Hanft will give a talk titled "Advancing HomeFront’s Mission" when the BUNWC Tri-County Chapter of the Brandeis National Committee meets at the Robbinsville branch of the Mercer County Library System, 42 Robbinsville-Allentown Road.
Ms. Hanft, director of mission advancement for HomeFront, will present the comprehensive network of services for the poor and homeless in Mercer County that her organization provides.
The meeting is free of charge and open to the community.
The BUNWC Tri-County Chapter is a nonsectarian service organization whose members also are interested in furthering their own culture and education. Scheduled activities in the near future include attending the Montclair Art Museum and Grounds for Sculpture, touring the New York (East Side) art galleries, book club meetings, foreign films and learning to cook with Phyllo dough.

Horsemen’s meeting
Tuesday, March 15 – The Horsemen’s Association of Millstone Township (HAMT) will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Millstone Community Center on Stagecoach Road (next to the firehouse). The topic of discussion will be upcoming trail rides and special events.
HAMT is an organization dedicated to horse-related recreation and education, and its members include Western and English riders as well as carriage drivers. The meeting is open to all who enjoy horses – you do not need to own a horse or live in Millstone. For more information, visit www.hamt.org.
‘Copacabana’ at RHS
Friday, March 25; Saturday, March 26; and Sunday, March 27 – The Robbinsville High School Raven Players will present the new musical comedy "Copacabana" at the high school, 155 Robbinsville-Edinburg Road.

Chicken salad and bake sale
Sunday, March 27 – A chicken salad and bake sale will be held at the New Egypt firehouse, Main Street, New Egypt. Pickup time is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. $12 a quart and $6 a pint.
Pre-order sales by March 18. Call Debbie at 738-2241 or Sarah Jo at 758-3260. Proceeds will benefit the New Egypt Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Stream cleanup
Saturday, April 2 – Millstone Township will hold its fifth annual townwide stream cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon. The meeting location will be the parking lot behind the court building at 215 Millstone Road near the Rocky Brook Park and United Presbyterian Church.
Come out and volunteer with your friends and neighbors to improve the environment and support your community while making Millstone Township a cleaner place to live. The cleanup is sponsored by the Millstone Township Environmental Commission and the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association. A free T-shirt and water will be available.
The event will count toward volunteer hours for students; bring required forms.

Continuing events
Parade fundraiser – The Robbinsville Irish Heritage Association announces that special "Irish" green hair extensions are now available from the Hair It Is salon in Foxmoor Shopping Center.
The extensions are available for a donation of $10 and will directly benefit Robbinsville Township’s second annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, planned for March 19. The extensions are a non-permanent way to show your Irish spirit.
Pre-sale tickets are now available for the after-parade party to be held at Ernie’s Tavern on Main Street in Robbinsville. Pre-sale tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and are available at Santino’s Pizzeria on Route130 South, Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream in Town Center and Ernie’s Tavern. Tickets also will be available at the door for $12 for adults and $6 for children. Admission includes food, non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment.
