Lawrenceville Main Street (LMS) is planning its 13th annual Jubilee for Sunday, May 1. The old-fashioned street fair will include live music and entertainment, food, rides, games, and activities.
The jubilee will be held rain or shine from 12 to 5 p.m. in the Village of Lawrenceville between Gordon and Phillips avenues, which intersect Route 206 about one-half mile north of Franklin Corner Road.
There will be many activities for children, including the Moon Walk Rides, Giant Slide, and Castle Bounce. In addition, kids can ride on a pony, play a wide assortment of games, have their faces painted, and enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, cotton candy, funnel cake and snow-cones.
Local restaurants will offer a variety of foods such as barbecued chicken and ribs and shish-kabobs (just to name a few selections from the menu).
Music will be by local band Riverside and other entertainment on the jubilee stage.
The programmers are looking for:
– Entertainers: Dancers, singers, karate teams, and other entertainers from the Lawrenceville area to perform during band intermissions.
Please call: Jubilee Co-Chair Jo-Ann Cali at 732-754-8016 or Art Schonheiter at 609-219-9300 for a place on the program.
– Vendors: The Jubilee also provides an opportunity for local businesses, artists/artisans, and nonprofit organizations to exhibit their products and services.
The fee for a 10′ X 10′ space is $50 ($75 for food vendors). Contact either Jo-Ann or Art for information.
– Sponnsors: LMS accepts sponsorships to help make our event a success. Call the LMS office to learn about sponsorship opportunities. Sign up early to see your company’s name on all promotional materials and advertising.
