South Hunterdon Regional High School’s 33rd annual Marching Band Auction will be held April 9 in the school’s gymnasium, 301 Mount Airy-Harbourton Road, West Amwell.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for preview. The auction will begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person and children under 5 are free. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The annual Art Raffle also is taking place and tickets will be available for purchase at the auction.
The framed painting is donated by local artist, Irma Fuhr, and is “Green Sergeant’s Covered Bridge.”
Chances for the raffle are $3 each or two tickets for $5. The painting will be raffled off at the SHRSH Spring Concert II on June 7. One does not have to be present to win.
Tickets for the Art Raffle also will be available for purchase on the corner of Union and Bridge streets in Lambertville most weekends in April and May.
The Auction and Art Raffle are sponsored by The SHRSH Marching Band Parents Association. The proceeds will go toward Marching Band Summer Camp for all marching band members.
