Berklee College of Music in Boston has announced that Royce Waltrip, of Cranbury, has been placed on the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2010 academic year.
To be eligible, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above. ***
Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall dean’s list.
In order to qualify for the dean’s list at Loyola, a student must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits.
Among those qualifying were Brian Donohue, Michael Mikula and Christopher O’Keefe, all Monroe residents and members of the Class of 2011. ***
Drew University student Hallie Velloso, of Jamesburg, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester.
In order to qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or above, which is equivalent to a B+ or better. ***
Heidi Pi, of Monroe Township, has received faculty honors for the fall semester at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
To receive faculty honors, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of at least a 3.667 with no individual letter grade below B-minus. ***
Brad Seigal, of Jamesburg, was named to the University at Albany’s fall dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement. ***
ARLINGTON, Virginia – Alessandra Mercuro, of Cranbury, is among the 567 Marymount University undergraduates named to the dean’s list for academic achievement throughout the fall semester.
Ms, Mercuro, a senior, is an art major.
To be named to the dean’s list, students must carry a full academic load that semester, be in good academic standing and have a grade point average of at least 3.4. A dean’s list notification is made on the transcript for each semester it is awarded.
Scholarships
Dr. Dario A. Cortes, Berkeley College president, announced that high school seniors from Middlesex County have received scholarships to attend the college.
Among them is Vincent Piro, of Monroe Township.
Berkeley College scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors who demonstrate a high level of achievement in high school. Scholarships are renewable based on the recipient’s cumulative grade point average at the end of each academic year and continued enrollment as a full-time student.
