Dyanne Cano Photography Show at Small World Coffee
April 6, 2011-May 3, 2011
Opening Reception, Friday, April 8, 7:00pm-9:00pm
Small World Coffee, 14 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ 08542
Small World Coffee will be hosting a collection of new work by Dyanne Cano. Photographed in areas like Princeton, New York, Los Angeles, Portland and London, these images captures the fluidity of time and space. More often than not, these fleeting moments escape one’s memory quite easily. Cano’s work attempts to preserve the “everyday” we see but do not always remember.
Cano, a freelance professional photographer currently residing in Princeton, specializes in concert and documentary photography. Her work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times and Paste Magazine.
Cano studied photography at the University of Southern California, earning a B.A. in American literature and art history. She has also studied graphic and website design at Otis College of Art and Design.  Her career includes over a decade of nonprofit work in service-learning and arts education. She is currently a National Urban Fellow at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, pursuing her master’s degree.
