New Downdraft Ventilation System Rises to the Occasion
Miele Employs Immer Besser Philosophy in Ventilation Category
Princeton, NJ – For generations, Miele ventilation hoods have been acclaimed strong enough to clear the air yet quiet enough not to be noticed. Today, Miele continues its legacy with the introduction of a new kitchen ventilation product category.
Whether homeowners prefer a bold, visually striking island ventilation hood or one that’s discreetly integrated into custom cabinetry, Miele has a solution. All Miele hoods are all handcrafted with uncompromising quality by artisans – and artfully designed to suite all styles. Not only do these powerful, energy efficient hoods purify the air, they perform quietly, ensuring a truly comfortable atmosphere.
Debuting at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show in March is Miele’s first generation of downdraft ventilation systems made specifically for the American home. “Powerful performance meets space-efficient design as our telescopic downdraft ventilation system rises to the occasion – 14” over the cooktop surface to consume cooking odors,” explains Paul McCormack, Miele’s spokesperson. The 30” and 36” wide models are available in stainless steel finish with optional 500 and 1,000 CFM blower motor. “Easy-to-use controls with LED indicators manage four power levels, including a unique 15 minute delayed shutdown for maximum convenience and energy conservation,” concludes McCormack.
Miele’s downdraft ventilation systems will launch on March 31, 2011. MSRP ranges from $1,699 to $2,299 depending on model width and blower assembly selected.
