Jamesburg woman to teach flower arranging

NEW BRUNSWICK – Deena Main, a Jamesburg resident and horticulturist, will present a 1 1/2-hour hands-on flower arranging workshop at the Rutgers 35th annual Home Gardeners School on Saturday, March 19.
Workshop participants will learn basic techniques for decorating with fresh flowers and create their own arrangements to take home.
Ms. Main will join more than 25 of the state’s top home horticulture experts at HGS where 35 interactive lectures will be presented on topics ranging from canning fruits and vegetables to butterfly gardening to tree care.
The program will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Cook/Douglass campus at Rutgers University.
