Sigal on Squibb board

Bristol-Myers Squibb Company announced that Elliott Sigal, M.D., Ph.D., of Princeton has been elected to its board of directors. Dr. Sigal also will be a member of the board’s Science and Technology Committee.
Dr. Sigal, 59, reports to Lamberto Andreotti, chief executive officer, as executive vice president, chief scientific officer and president, Bristol-Myers Squibb Research and Development, a position he has held since 2004. Dr. Sigal joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in November 1997 as vice president of Applied Genomics. Since then he has served in critical leadership roles within research and development, including drug discovery and development. During Dr. Sigal’s tenure as chief scientific officer, Bristol-Myers Squibb achieved eight new drug approvals.
Court justice breakfast
New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Helen E. Hoens will be the guest speaker at a Business Before Business Breakfast sponsored by the Prince Regional Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, March 23 from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Nassau Club, 6 Mercer St., in Princeton.
Her topic will be "Stumbling Blocks or Stepping Stones – One Woman’s Path to the Supreme Court."
She will speak about her journey from a practicing attorney to her appointment on the New Jersey Supreme Court, the highest appellate court composed of a chief justice and six associate justices.
Keynote at tech summit
