In the age of Kindle, are books still popular? To the thousands of booklovers who will descend upon the Bryn Mawr-Wellesley Booksale this week, theanswer is a resounding "Yes!" They come to find bargains among the astonishing 80,000 volumes that will be sold in a mere five days. Among them are treasures such as complete sets ofShakespeare for home library shelves, rare collectibles, first editions andtens of thousands of children’s books.
The sale, which takes place at Princeton Day School, located at 650 The Great Rd, Princeton, opens Wednesday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Preview Day, for which there is a $20 admission fee.
Admission is then free for the balance of the sale – Thursday and Friday, March 24 and 25, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, March 26 (Half Price Day), 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 27 (Box Day) from, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

‘The Voice of Hollywood’
Hers is one of the most familiar and beloved voices in movie history, yet hardly anybody can tell you what she looks like. Hers is the iconic sound that defines an era in popular culture, yet hardly anybody knows her name.
Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts will present Marni Nixon – the singing voice of Deborah Kerr in "The King and I," Natalie Wood in "West Side Story," and Audrey Hepburn in "My Fai8r Lady," and 2011 Peabody Award Winner for Outstanding Contribution to American Music – in a master class and conversation from 3 to 6 p.m. in Fine Hall’s Taplin Auditorium.
It’s free and open to all, with seating on a first-come basis.

‘Damn Yankees!’ in Montgomery
Montgomery High School will kick out the jams with a big production of the hit musical "Damn Yankees!," music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, being presented Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the MHS Performimg Arts Center.
"Follow the journey of baseball fan Joe Boyd as he sells his soul to the devil to become the greatest ballplayer of all time, bringing his hometown team the victory they’ve always dreamed of …"
A cast of 50, fully staged and costumed. Song, dance, lots of laughs. All for $7 a head, tops.
