Marah Geltzer, of Allentown, and Brian Goodwine, of Robbinsville, students at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham, located in Madison, were named to the honor’s list for the fall 2010 semester.
To qualify for the honor’s list, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade-point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
Gordon Harvey, of Allentown, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck and Hackensack, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade-point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
Danielle E. Douglass, of Robbinsville, a freshman student at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania, was one of 161 first-semester freshman and transfer students recognized for making an impact on the campus as a new student.
The Celebration of Student Success reception honoring the students’ achievement was held Feb. 17 in the Neidig-Garber Science Center atrium.
The honorees were nominated by faculty and administrators for standing out in the classroom, in their work with classmates, as student leaders, in on-campus employment, or in extracurricular activities such as athletics, performance and volunteerism.
Kenneth Ridge, a sports management major and a resident of Allentown, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Pia Leone, of Allentown, a doctor of physical therapy student, was named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall semester.
Allentown residents Zachary Joyce and Samantha Scibilia were named to the dean’s list in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, for the fall 2010 semester. Both students are members of the freshman class.
To qualify for the dean’s list in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, one must be a matriculated full-time student and earn a semester grade point average of 3.5.
Ashley Bronston, of Robbinsville, was named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania.
To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be attending the university full time and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average.
