Sharon Toth of Hillsborough, Colleen Ridder of Belle Mead and Katherine Pirro of Metuchen will represent Somerset County 4-H at the National 4-H Conference from April 2-7 at the National 4-H Center in Chevy Chase, Md.
The conference will solicit input from a cross-section of the cooperative extension system to strengthen and expand the 4-H youth development program at local, state, and national levels.
The conference provides opportunities for young people to demonstrate leadership skills and to follow through on their willingness and interest in making a change in their community.
4-H educational programs are offered to all youth, grades K-13, on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, color, sex, national origin or disability. For information about joining 4-H or becoming a 4-H volunteer, call the county 4-H office at 908-526-6644.
