A Durling Way resident reported on March 6 that his apartment had been burglarized sometime since March 4, and $2,160 worth of electronics and clothing had been stolen. The detective bureau is continuing the investigation.
Marji Dainty, 43, of Princeton was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving at 6:12 p.m. on March 11 after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 206.
Ms. Dainty obtained blood-alcohol content breath test results of 0.17 percent. New Jersey law states that BAC above 0.08 percent is considered drunk. She was released after processing.
Andrew Kutsko, 49, of Hillsborough was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusing to submit to breath testing, failing to produce a driver’s license and driving with an open container of alcohol at 4:45 p.m. on March 12 on South Branch Road. He was released after processing.
A Shugal Court resident reported on March 16 that his vehicle, which was parked in front of his home, was entered overnight and a $1,200 laptop computer was stolen.
A Route 206 business reported on March 17 that four steel storm grates were stolen from the business driveway overnight. The value of the theft was reported to be $200.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at an Old Camplain Road business at 1:18 a.m. on March 22. The investigation revealed that the property was entered and storage facilities were tampered with an attempt to remove metal. Nothing was reported stolen, though.
Montgomery Township police reported a “road rage” incident in which one man swung a tire iron on Route 206 near the Hillsborough border at 1:32 p.m. on March 23.
Upon arrival, the two parties had been separated, but an investigation found that James A. Schremp, 25, of Princeton, and a 54-year-old Hillsborough man became engaged in a road rage incident three miles north in Hillsborough.
The drivers continued south on Route 206, driving erratically and aggressively while shouting at each other, police said. When they reached Montgomery, they both got out of their vehicles and continued shouting.
Mr. Schremp allegedly pulled a steering wheel lock device from his vehicle and swung it at the other driver, missing him, police said. Mr. Schremp was subdued by the other driver. Police arrested Mr. Schremp and charged him with simple assault. He is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
