CHAPTER A
Chapter A meets the first Thursday of the month in the municipal complex. We are open to new members. Doors open at 11:30, allowing you time to review the activities we offer. The meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. Dick Meier is president; you can call him at 908-359-6948 if you have a question.
On April 7, our regular meeting will be a health fair. There will be many professionals on hand for you to consult if you have a concern. Chapter B will join us from 10 a.m. to noon.
Need to get your pressure checked, or do you have a question about your medication, or other things, like blood sugar or some ache or pain? There will be someone you can talk to. This is free to seniors, so please take advantage of this service.
Our regular meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. and end with refreshments.
Please be aware that your yearly dues of $5 must be paid at this meeting or you will be dropped from our rolls and you’ll not be eligible to join us at trips and luncheons.
On April 13, we’ll have our member appreciation luncheon. Cost is $12, which will be refunded on your arrival. We have a nice meal, which is followed by bingo with cash prizes. We always have a good time.

–CHAPTER B
Chapter B will celebrate spring with a luncheon on April 14 at the Municipal Building. This will be in lieu of our regular meeting. A cold buffet will be served by a local caterer.
Tickets for this event were sold at our February and March meetings for $15 and money will be refunded upon attendance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Please remember that doors are opening earlier then usual — at 11 a.m. — to give everyone time to visit our ticket tables. Please bring your checkbook or some checks so that you don’t miss out on some of our upcoming events.
It is unusual to have a guest speaker when we have a luncheon but on April 14 we are making an exception. At 1:30 p.m. Dr. Jorden Schiff, Hillsborough Superintendent of Schools, or a representative from his office will speak briefly about the property tax freeze program, answer your questions and have some forms to fill out if you qualify. We want our seniors to be informed of matters that pertain to them.
We will have a brief discussion and vote on the final two amendments to the by-laws.
Reminder to all Chapter B members: You are invited to join Chapter A on Tuesday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to noon and participate with them in their health fair. Representatives from local pharmacies, Somerset Medical Center, Hunterdon Medical Center, local doctors, etc., will be present to answer your questions.
